A. saccharum

Sugar Maple is the source of New England’s most ubiquitous forest product, maple syrup, so seemed a fitting namesake for wine inspired by the forests of New England. We’ve long been fascenated by retsinas (a traditional Greek white wine style that involves using pine resin to seal aging vessels, imparting a distinct pine character), so naturally wondered what would happen if we brought togheter this style with our unique regional influences. We’ve got white pine everywhere around us in the Boston area, which has a particularly subtle flavor profile we thought would work perfect. Some MA grown pears & apples seemed a natural addition as well for an easy drinking, very New England vibe. 2023 vintage exclusive at the moment—we don’t even have this one in our plans for 2026 and aren’t sure what the future holds for this label so let us know what you think!
