COMING 2026
We may be a wine brand, but we too are constantly looking for ways to moderate our alcohol consumption with great tasting alternatives. We’ve find a lot of the non-alcoholic options on the market to be pretty hit or miss and we always thought we could do better than a lot of what’s out there. From beginning our journey, launching such a product has always been part of our vision for Marzae as part of our aim to build an inclusive community so we’re thrilled to announce we’re nearly there.
We were inspired by a kombucha based N/A line that we came across as a pandemic project for an Edinburgh chef, finding that it struck a great balance of the complexity of flavors only achievable through fermentation without being overly acidic, overly sweetened, or overly- or under- flavored to make up for the lack of alcohol we see a lot of in other N/A products. We also want to make sure we get the format & pricing right since we find many half decent N/A options can be overpriced and come in smaller or larger formats than we’d prefer. We’ve been working on developing our own line up for a while now, and just have to work through the logistics of at least soft launching along our tasting room opening (an N/A brand is a whole seperate regulatory & operational challenge to navigate!).
Rather than imitating existing alcoholic beverages or just being de-alcoholized versions of the product, we’d like to think of our N/A ferments as their own unique thing that can be enjoyed in a similar manner to alcoholic beverages, just with probiotics & adaptogens instead of booze—part of why we want to be able to offer a unique full N/A & mocktail tasting room experience in addition to being a wine tasting room and why our planned bottle aesthetics are modelled off of natural wines.
